Frazier, MD, are pleased to welcome W.
Bradford Carter, MD to MLHC Breast Surgical Specialists. In practice
for more than 20 years, Dr. Carter is board certified and specializes in
breast and oncologic surgery with expertise in breast biopsy, Sentinel
lymph node biopsy, diagnostic breast ultrasound, and breast-conserving
surgery including lumpectomy, as well as partial and nipple-sparing
mastectomy. Previous to joining MLHC, Dr. Carter was the director of the
Alvin & Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute at Sinai Hospital in
Baltimore, MD. He is devoted to educating his patients so they can be
active participants in their treatment planning and ongoing care.
Dr. Carter earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and completed his general surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He completed two fellowships; an Endocrine Research Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and an NIH Physician Scientist Cancer Fellowship at the Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Carter is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the American Association of Cancer Research. He is on staff at Main Line Health® Hospitals: Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr, Paoli and Riddle hospitals. He is available as a speaker for community events.
MLHC Breast Surgical Specialists is located in Suite 201 at 101 South Bryn Mawr Avenue in Bryn Mawr, just across the street from the Bryn Mawr Hospital campus.
