Paoli Hospital was named among America's most beautiful hospitals for 2012 in a nationwide survey. Paoli placed 11th out of 20 and is the only hospital in Pennsylvania to make the list.

Paoli Hospital’s distinctive design features interior and exterior elements proven to be both physically and mentally healing while being more efficient, effective and safe. Examples include a spacious three-story atrium, which is home to the main lobby, surgical waiting area, and coffee shop; hotel-like amenities such as Wi-Fi connections; private patient rooms and room service; an abundance of natural light; and peaceful outdoor reflection gardens.
“As we continue to evolve, our guiding principle is and always will be a belief that a building’s design can positively impact safety, efficiency, satisfaction and healing for everyone who comes through our doors,” she added.
The expansion and renovation of the Family Centered Maternity Unit at Paoli Hospital is one of the latest improvements underway at Paoli Hospital. The $11 million project which is slated for completion by fall 2013, will be consistent with the hospitals beautiful environment while also incorporating the latest concepts in patient-centered care. The project involves the construction of 24 private patient rooms, 12 labor, delivery, and recovery suites, four triage rooms, and a larger nursery and Level II NICU.
